Anstey Alpacas ambition is to provide young people with a different and alternative experience to what they may receive in a school and classroom environment.
Students have the opportunity to vaccinate, groom, train and carry out the general care of the animals that we have.
Students have the opportunity to train the animals, learn how to halter and harness the. Students will be involved in the birthing of animals and providing the immediate care that they will require.
Students will learn and complete tasks that involve the feeding and bedding regimes of the animals.
The educational work that we offer can contribute towards BTEC Level 1 & 2 in Animal Care.
We will accommodate students for a maximum of two days per week.
Our Safeguarding Policy, along with other policies are available upon request.
