Anstey Alpacas ambition is to provide young people with a different and alternative experience to what they may receive in a school and classroom environment.
Students have the opportunity to vaccinate, groom, train and carry out the general care of the animals that we have. The educational work that we offer can contribute towards BTEC Level 1 & 2 in Animal Care.
Away from the animals the young people learn about vegetables, fruit and flowers and how the different seasons affects the different produce. From sowing the seeds and nurturing the young plants through to picking the crop the young people will learn how to manage the soil and weather conditions. The young people also have the opportunity to take home the produce that they have grown.
To attend our alternative provision and/or for more information about our educational provision please contact us so that we may discuss your requirements further.
